WIP, bio
Alicia was born to two politicians. This alone explains part of what she is, though only a small part indeed. Her father was always neglectful and hostile, annoyed to have a child distracting him from his own interests. Often, he wouldn't bother with reality at all, being more interested in a virtual one than dealing with his child in his spare time. Her mother, Lucia, was left raising her effectively on her own. Lucia had a busy life, however, so Alicia was forced to be self-sufficient in order to keep her life from being miserable. What time Lucia did have for her daughter, however, was equal parts quality time and teaching her to be a better person. Alicia was taught not to be complacent despite the peace of the world around her, and to make what improvements she could to it, and herself, as things were never perfect.
When Alicia was old enough to be in school, Lucia paid for high level classes in order to ensure that her daughter got the best education possible. Though the classes were hard, Alicia would come to excel, due to her work ethic, her memory, and her eye for detail. As well, when she did struggle, her mother taught her ways to change her thinking and improve her skills.
When Alicia graduated at fourteen, she had a decision to make in regards to what she could do with her life. After some thought, she realized that the greatest problem that remained in the world was how complacent everyone was… It was easy to get by without thinking, and just sit around bored while trying to find ways to enjoy oneself. This was what she decided she would dedicate herself to changing. Not by making their lives more difficult, but encouraging them to truly think as they attempted to enjoy themselves, and imagine things better even than what they had now.
Thinking of how her father had escaped from reality in his quest for entertainment, Alicia decided the best way to inspire people would be to go into their fantasies. So, she sought out others that would be willing to work with her in such an endeavor. Though she was to be the creative mind behind the projects, she did spend the time to study programming languages enough that she could create moderately complex games on her own, if needed.
Alicia was successful in putting a team together to create a game. The first project the team would work on was something that had some debate, but it was decided that they would work on a fighting game. The core idea was something that would appeal to both young kids and somewhat more mature audiences. As it developed, it turned into something that was lighthearted and not at all serious, with a story that was obvious as an over-the-top parody to older players, but was enjoyable to the younger children that didn't catch nuances of dialogue. The mechanics ended up relatively generic due to the creative focus being aimed at the general theme and plot.
That game was released when Alicia was sixteen years old, under the name Princess Dog. They started working on another game not long after, but halfway into development, the team broke up due to various problems between the members. Since then, Alicia has been creating a game on her own from the ruins of that project. Though the idea had been for another fighting game, she's adjusted the setting to something more akin to an RPG, with a very wide and deep world. Though an ambitious project for a single person, especially one as inexperienced as she, she manages to near completion, four years later. Yet, perhaps soon, the project will become entirely irrelevant…

Element: Grace- Finesse, beauty, composure, kindness, and the mercy within justice. Grace is many things, and Alicia is all of them. She has the skill and the inner strength to do what must be done, with neither cruelty nor hesitation, and this ability is reflected fully within her magic.
Effect: Grace Under Pressure- When Alicia hits 0 resolve, she may immediately take 2 OC and return to 100% resolve. If she has yet to act this round, she may do so when her turn comes. Subsequent uses become extremely costly however, with double the cost and half the effect each time, as well as reducing her magical stats by 2. (First use has straight 2 OC cost for 100% healing, second has 4 OC cost and -2 magical stats for 50% healing, third has 8 OC cost and another -2 magical stats for 25% healing… and so on.)
Effect: Unfailing Skill - Alicia's strength of will and finesse in battle refuse to allow failure. For 2 OC on the corresponding stat, she may re-roll any failed action, though a given action may not be re-rolled a second time. All OC gained in both attempts is applied.
Power: Inspiration - Many things can inspire, in many different ways. The charisma of a great leader might inspire ideals that will be held for generations, or the simple beauty of a few clouds on a sunny day might inspire a poem in tribute… In all its forms, inspiration is the surfacing of desire within the soul. Alicia has the power to call that desire forth, leading onward to victory, and beyond.
Effect: Chessmaster- Alicia can spend 1 OC and her action to let two allies immediately act. This action does not consume their turn, but Alicia chooses what their action here is.
Finishing Move: Graceful Flash - Alicia's wings glow with a bright white light, which rapidly intensifies until it extends, shooting out as intense beams of light, which curve and converge on her target. When the beams cross, the light becomes blindingly intense, consuming everything for just a split second. During that tiny moment, Alicia dashes across the battlefield and through the enemy with her sword… And again, and again, and again, hitting everything. When sight returns, she can be seen sheathing her blade…
Effect: The main target takes 2d6 damage, resolved as normal. In addition, all enemies take half attack stat worth of unavoidable damage.
